Are you afraid when you fly?
"The plane is the safest means of transportation in the world ”,as the saying goes.
Since the first steps of aeronautics men have never ceased to face challenges to go quicker,
further and higher. But until now, no one has been able to take up the challenge of finding a
system which can save lives during a crash landing.
However there are ideas about it!
I got interested in the history of aviation, I consulted some
literature, among which, is this book.
I felt a
real pleasure with sometimes a little emotion, to follow page after page, step
by
step each advance and discovered I felt admiration and deep respect
for the achievements made by these pioneers of aeronautics with such limited
resources, because in their time, they knew nothing about
how to fly.
This
journey across time was essential with the continuation of this project because
it enabled me to make it credible. I am inspired, indeed, only by actual facts
.
I made a
synthesis of all the information I've seen
and the verdict is clear. Have been I
noticed: since the early days of aviation, different kinds of machines has been
Invented : from the heaviest to the lightest, from the most daring challenge to
the most ridiculous,” there was everything and anything”.
Except, the
most important to me:
A device
designed to protect occupants, in anticipation of the unimaginable
(a crash
landing ).
My second
observation was the following:
I realized that most of technological advances
were the result of the generosity of patrons (sponsor) at the beginning, because
they offered a lot of money to the first who could take up a challenge.
( Famous men were born ,such as Louis Bleriot who crossed the Channel in 1909,
Charles Lindbergh who crossed the Atlantic in 1927 etc.)
Then the
two world wars of the 20th century caused a rapid development of aviation.
Big nations
, saw in this new technology a formidable weapon.
Paris March
5, 1912
A call in
favor of military aviation.
"The
threats of war are more precise in Europe.
Mr.
Millerand submits a laws for the organization of military
aeronautics.
Initiatives for the defense of France multiply.
At the
Sorbonne, on February 11th, an Air Force meeting brought together
6000
people, come to listen to Captain
Bellenger speake of the 5th weapon
Senator
Reymond encourages the French to imitate the Kaiser,
who did not
hesitate to dip into its cassette. Clemenceau implores everyone to give
"the
same three
pennies" in ten minutes, they collect 3,000 francs
February
23, Morning launches a national subscription to raise 50 million.
The newspaper pays for its part, 50,000 francs.
The Tire manufacturer Michelin tires offer 10,000 francs "
Well, I got
my inspiration from all these facts
You may
come a patron (sponsors).* Let me explain:
The
challenge would be the following
the first
aircraft manufacturer to design an airplane that systematically protect the
occupants in a crash, will be privileged.*
I use this picture changed the first message this the new ones.
A call in
favor of our planet.
A dual
impact.
Not only is
this project intended to save lives, but
it well also the environment
Until now
the only thing we have done for the airline that are the
less safe is point the finger at a black list. What ever happened to the spirit
of aviation that once existed?
Well, be
indulgent, if such a project were to become reality due to yours efforts , the
least safe airlines would have to be able to benefit from this new generation
aircraft s so they can change their fleets of old and polluting aircraft.
How to
finance this project.
Without assisting theses airlines, and under
particular condition. A financial aid offers will be made in the renewal of
their devices. For a paltry sum, they can changed theirs planes, if they wish.
The first
manufacturer able to take up this challenge.will have a monopoly to sell this
unit "Low cost"
The best
way to recover funds will be to create an annual event where everyone has the
opportunity,
at its convenience, to support this project. as is the case in other
disciplines,
automobile,
boat etc..
I am
thinking glide race racing, which would be held on July 25 of each year, in
honor of the pioneers of aviation, the challenge being the crossing of Channel
* So you
have a crucial role to play, because it is your donations that will fund this
project and I assure you, the addition
of a few dollars, multiplied by the number of people who feel concerned, will be
the strength the project .

This
sentence summarizes my view of the world today
“Nothing
can stop progress, when profit is on the
horizon”
My main goal will be to convince you , but also
find à agency(what ever it is) such as Aero club of France created in 1898, Aero club of London,
the Aero club of USA having the means to
support and pusue this action.
In 2007
I created
an association: Juste 1 chance. Then to prove my determination, I started my own
challenge.
My goal: attempt to cross the Channel in a
glider or just try, each year, in honor of Louis Bleriot, who was the first
French aviator to cross the Channel (July 25, 1909). I try to achieve this
feat.
If you wish, you can follow my journey on my blog*
Every year
I try to go there so that this project will materialize
The only
pleasure I will get from, this adventure will be immense personal satisfaction for having been
able to influence aviation even if just a little.
he could
possibly be influenced,
I believe
in this project the same way as the pioneers of aviation believed that we could
fly.
The story of Louis
Bleriot.
*In 1908,
The Daily Mail, an English newspaper, offers a reward of 1000
pounds to
The first aviator to cross the Strait.
In 1909,
only three competitors are able to take up the challenge:

The
memorial.
I had to go
to England to the place where Louis Bleriot landed.
On May 24,
2009 I arrived at Bleriot beach.
(The community
of Sangatte is composed of two towns separated from each other by a distance of
4 km the village
of Sangatte itself and the hamlet of
Bleriot beach
Apart from
the exploits of Louis Bleriot, we note mainly the digging of the Channel
Tunnel.)
I walked along
the sea for a long while , as night began to fall . It was cold.
I was alone
you could see in the distance the clouds pilng up precursors of bad weather.
In fact it
was the weather forecast announcing their arrival, hald led me to which.
The next
day, in cloudy and cold weather .I embarked in the ferry and was really happy to see the sun when I arrived.
I only
stayed one day. I went to the memorial
of Louis Bleriot.
Where an
aircraft- shaped monument symbolizes
exact place where he landed.
The
origins.
In 2005.
I started
to imagine what an airliner should have to be able to give everyone a chance to
escape safely in a crash.
Later I was
surprised to discover that many ideas similar to mine had been found.
In 2001.
During
training on aircraft maintenance, various safety systems were disc,,,,,,.
I learned
that most security system were redundant and that there was some limit to this
principle.
Afterwards,
I continued to get information about this topic I was interested in
In 1999.
Fifteen
years ago, a long hospitalization opened my eyes.
It is indeed
through this ordeal that I really realized the value of life.
This revelation led me first to do first aid. I joined various organizations of first aid.
